April 9, 2019
Eisner is pleased to announce that partner Jeremiah Reynolds has been selected for Variety’s Legal Impact Report. Published annually, this award recognizes the top attorneys in the entertainment business. Reynolds is one of only [50] individuals honored nationwide.
Over the course of his nearly two decades-long career, Reynolds has been involved in some of the most closely watched entertainment lawsuits in the United States on behalf of his clients across the music, film, television, and sports industries in matters involving distribution rights, merchandising and licensing rights, profit participation and other accounting issues, contractual disputes, and intellectual property disputes.
Notably, over the past year, Reynolds secured a major victory on behalf of Voltage Pictures in high-profile litigation with Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions over rights to “The Professor and the Madman,” an adaptation of the best-selling history of the Oxford English Dictionary that stars both Gibson and Sean Penn. He also successfully obtained the dismissal of a lawsuit brought against his client, MMA fighter Nate Diaz, by a company that claimed to be Diaz’s former agents and managers.
Reynolds has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the “The Best Lawyers in America” in the category of Entertainment and Media Litigation, and has been named to the Southern California Super Lawyers list.
